ENTRY INFO:
Entries for Championship, Premiership, AOV and Provisional classes must have the registration number on the entry blank and printed in the catalog. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided to the master clerk on the opening day of the show. Entry clerk will phone collect to clarify entries where necessary. Fees must accompany entries and no fees will be refunded due to failure to bench. Fax or Email entries must be paid within 10 days of receipt or at check-in; which ever comes first per CFA show rules. Kittens must be four months of age or older on the opening day of the show. There will be no vending from cages or groom spaces. Rex Rattle and Roll Cat Club or SW Region will not be responsible for damage, loss, personal injury or loss of personal property.
SHOW HOTEL:
Official Show Hotel - Crowne Plaza Ventura ((888) 233-9527- 450 East Harbor Blvd Ventura Ca 93001 $109.00 single/double occupancy. Please mention CFA Southwest Region Awards for this special room rate! There is a REFUNDABLE pet deposit. The hotel management, will inspect the rooms prior to or immediately after checkout, any issues with rooms will be brought to the attention of the club for verification. PLEASE clean up your rooms, to insure our great reputation with the Crowne Plaza continues! There will be plastic bags available for you at the reception desk for dirty litter!
The SW Region has guaranteed a block of rooms at a greatly discounted price in Ventura for this time of year and rooms and ocean view is spectacular! PLEASE, book at the show hotel, this is a win/win for both you and the region. The Show rate will be held until May 20th, or until filled. Mention the Cat Fanciers Association/SW Region when booking.
We have also secured complementary parking for those of you staying in the hotel right next door in the City of Ventura Parking Structure or, there is a reduced rate available for the actual Hotel parking lot of only $10.00 per night plus city tax.
SHOW BANQUET INFO:
Crowne Plaza Ventura, 450 East Harbor Blvd. Ca 93001. No Host Bar outside the banquet hall will begin at 5:15pm. Dinner and the SW Region Awards Banquet will be held in the San Miguel Banquet Hall beginning at 6:15pm.
This year there is a limited amount of dinner seating. We have only 180 dinner sets available for the Banquet.
PLEASE RESERVE YOUR PLACE EARLY SO YOU DO NOT GET LEFT OUT!
The Banquet theme is "Stars by the Sea", and the awards presentation will have a new twist! As always, Semi-Formal Attire or dressy resort wear is recommended, for this wonderful seaside gala. Immediately after the event, outside at the sheltered patio the Hotel Bar will be open for drinks and coffee available for purchase for our attendees.

SHOW HALL INFO:
Ventura County Fairgrounds 10 Harbor Blvd Ventura, Ca 93001. Anacapa Hall. Entrance is off Parking lot A, Fairgrounds entrance is ahead. Free Parking for exhibitors. Fairgrounds will charge for admission after posted check in times.
FOOD: Fairgrounds will have food available.... Grand Parties are welcome.
CHECK IN AND JUDGING:
Check-in time will be Saturday June 12th between 7:00am - 8:00am. Judging will begin promptly at 8:00am Saturday. The Advertised Show Hours are Saturday from 08:00am - 4:00pm. No benching tear down is permitted until after advertised show hours (Kittens excepted) without express permission of the Show Manager.
BENCHING:
Cage size: 36"w x 24"d x 27"h - No double cages - One cat or two kittens may be benched per cage. If your security or personal cage won't fit within these dimensions, you must request and pay for an additional groom space. Benching will be honored whenever possible (one request per agent / exhibitor) NO negative benching! No change in benching will be allowed without the permission of the Show Manager. Litter will be provided for the show hall only, please bring your own litter pans, cage drapes, cat food and dishes.
FOR SALE CAGES:
Only one cat or two for sale kittens are allowed in one cage in accordance with CFA show rules. All for sale kittens must be from the same breeder and accompanied by at lease one cat/kitten that is entered in competition. Each for sale kitten must have an entry blank. NO KITTENS UNDER THE AGE OF 4 MONTHS ARE PERMITTED IN THE SHOW HALL. No kittens allowed under the benching areas!
HEALTH:
This is a non-vetted show. All entries should be inoculated against feline enteritis, rhinotracheitis, calci viruses, rabies and tested negative for FeLV. All entries must be free of fungus and parasites, ALL CLAWS MUST BE CLIPPED PRIOR TO BENCHING. Handicapped HHP's are welcome in the new season, but NO Declawed cats are eligible for entry.

CFA AWARDS AND REGIONAL AWARDS:
Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with CFA show rules, for a copy of the current CFA Show Rules send $5.00 to: The Cat Fanciers Assoc. Inc, PO Box 1005 Manasquan, NJ 08736-1005. CFA show rules will be strictly enforced! Regional Awards awarded in accordance with CFA requirements.
Join us at the SW Regional Awards Banquet there are a limited amount of dinners available for this event. We also ask that you book your room directly with the Crowne Plaza beginning April 1st 2010. We have a block of rooms that we reserved for you for this special event at a special price. Please help the Region by booking your room at the Show Hotel.
